To Have Patience

To understand my limits in learning.

I reflected on my learning capabilities and realized I have stronger verbal interpretive strengths than quantitative visual abilities. Both are great in their own ways, but it dawned on me why graphic design or data visualization doesn’t click when analyzing the information.

I’ve enjoyed learning the meanings behind narrative vs. abstract interpretation, and, if abstract, in the genre of fiction.

If I could go back to my younger self, it’s okay to think naturally in stories, metaphors, and language. It’s going to take a bit of a trick of the mind to translate those skills into other areas.
